Photo by Todor Kamenovic/Bloomberg] The Russian invasion of the Crimea is being used to justify a military intervention in Syria and Iraq, according to the head of Amnesty International Russia. Hovhannes Kavkaza, deputy director of Amnesty's Europe and Central Asia Project, said this morning that the "military intervention in Syria and Iraq" would amount to a prelude to a similar war to seize eastern Ukraine. "There's no need to wait for another Cold War to begin," Kavkaza said when asked about what, if any, evidence Putin is preparing for similar action against Ukraine. "What's the point of a war with Ukraine that the West won't even consider?" In September 2014, the Obama administration started planning to arm the Ukrainian government for a possible conflict with Russia in eastern Ukraine. h/t @hovnys] Follow Oliver Darcy (@oliverdarcy) on Twitter a href=https://www.gohappyclub.com/ Л≤╗К²╪Л²╦Л╧╢Л╖─К┘╦ /a Highland trek aims to steer youth from crime, drug and drug dealers into jobs, help them become productive people and turn their lives around The youth's trail starts at the Westgate Mall in Denver with stops at the University of Colorado Denver and Centennial Olympic Park. More than 35 groups are also involved in the hiking and mountain bike trail system. The trail reaches its peak at 4,650 feet in Denver's Rocky Mountains. The group said more than 200 participants had already passed through checkpoints last week. As part of the tour's educational component, participants will see firsthand a range of challenges faced by youth when it comes to drug abuse and other problems. Participants will learn how to get a job and begin to build self-esteem and self-sufficiency by tackling challenges such as being unable to pay for housing due to drug or alcohol abuse. "We want the program to help youth develop skills and help them develop the confidence necessary to take the next step in their lives," the tour's organizer said. More than 200 riders, who all were from Colorado, arrived Friday at Colorado Parks and Wildlife offices at about 12:45 a.m. from seven states that include Alabama, Maine, Minnesota, North Carolina, Rhode Island and Texas. All riders, including one who went from North Carolina to Texas to help carry the group, are expected to be here Monday to discuss the latest news from the trail and to help educate parents of kids participating in the program. a href=https://www.grupo-huk.com/ К╟■Л╧╢К²╪Л┌╛Л²╢М┼╦ /a
